On behalf of the Organizers I am honored to invite and welcome you to participate in this year’s Forum activities that are taking place on March 12, 2019, in Piraeus from 14.00 to 20.00 on – board our Platinum Sponsor’s Celestyal cruise ship “Olympia”, which will be hosting IFOSMA 2019.
IFOSMA 2019 will attempt to examine how shipping companies adapt and operate in a global cultural environment; investigate how shipping companies relate, collaborate with and choose external partners, especially those related to manning agencies; and assess how the organizational identity of shipping companies creates a distinct competitive advantage with regard to its human capital.

The Aim
The Forum aims to examine how shipping companies can develop strong and mutual beneficial relationships with their partners (i.e manning agencies) taking into consideration their organizational identity and their ability to operate in diverse cultural environments.
